Hello and welcome! Thankyou so much for stopping by to my little corner of the world. I would like to share a bit about myself and about my passion for my art. I was born with a creative spirit and have loved art since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Self taught, I have been a professional folk artist, specializing in primitive portraits, furniture, dolls and school girl stitcheries for over 20 years and am amazed to find that life still continues to inspire me to create in new ways everyday. I have had the privilege to have my work  featured in primitive country catalogs and have sold my designs all over the world. One of the most thrilling moments for me was to have my designs purchased for the films, "Into the West" and "The Hope and Glory"!  My one of a kind collections have been displayed in the finest primitive shops all over New England and are an ever changing outlet for my creativity.
Recently, I have also begun to paint designs with a more whimsical appeal and have found it exciting to be able to express myself in a different genre, using vibrant colors and mixed media collage technique.  Perhaps, my most exciting news is that this has opened up a new door for me as I have been asked to illustrate a line of children's books based on some of these designs! I have created a special website to showcase this art and invite you to take a peek at:www.queenbartistry.homestead.com .
My creative passion in life is to bring joy to others by capturing the innocence, simplicity and sense of wonder that I see and feel in the little miracles that happen all around me. Whichever genre I may choose, whether it be a primitive portrait, textile piece or vintage collage, my desire is to bring each design to life with a touch of whimsy from a childlike heart. I am a woman of faith, committed to finding peace and joy in the ordinary and my creations reflect my love of simple things and memories of times gone by. My artwork is a varied collection of these dreams and through them, I hope to evoke memories of our wonderful heritage, bring a smile to your face and an appreciation of the simple beauty that surrounds us making this life so magical.
I thank you for taking the time to get to know a bit about me and hope if you would like to know more that you will visit my blogs: www.wildberrygatherings.blogspot.com. and

May you be blessed in your life and inspired to live your dreams!
